Nation First Institutes (NFI) is a flagship academic initiative of the SROT Foundation (Socio Responsible Organised Thrust), dedicated to nation-building through inclusive and accessible education.

NFI has been envisioned to empower sections of society that are deprived of educational opportunities by providing quality education either free of cost or at highly subsidised fees. The initiative is deeply aligned with social responsibility and national service, with a focused outreach towards Army personnel, Police personnel, physically challenged individuals, and economically deprived sections of society.

To ensure credibility, quality, and academic excellence, Nation First Institutes is affiliated with Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, which operates under the aegis of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Through this affiliation, NFI aims to deliver recognized, skill-oriented, and future-ready education, enabling learners to become self-reliant, employable, and socially empowered—truly living the spirit of “Education in the service of Nation First.
